So the picture is from our actual first anniversary in Monterey. The little pictures that make it up are from our first year of marriage. It's really fun to look at the little squares and remember what is actually a pretty full twelve months. And even though one year isn't that long there are even a few pictures I hardly remembered until I saw them here again. It's very fun. And Steve did a very good job on the anniversary thing and the paper thing. I can't wait to see next year's cotton present though Steve has already told me, "socks." And one last thing. I know that in a lot of years you get like gold and silver anniversaries. But does anyone know if there is a silk one? That sounds nice now that I'm thinking about it.

Paper Gift
Many of you may know that the first anniversary is the paper anniversary. So this week my very thoughtful anniversary gift arrived made of paper. Here it is below.
